From 1971 through 1973, John Van Horn recorded for Mercury Records in New York, and released the album titled "Outback Music". A 45 EP was released in 1973 in Nashville, TN. with select cuts from the album. The album sold over 30,000 copies on the first run and an undetermined number after being released in several European markets under the Philips Label. One problem came about by using an acoustic guitar for the front cover of the album. A lot of the record stores put it in the Folk music bins instead of the Rock bins as this was clearly not a Folk record!! "CLICK THE THUMBNAILS"

Here is that man again! I think he may be the one who wrote the lyrics for
the Mercury Album!! Could this be Fitzmorris? And what is he carrying in his
hand? Strange indeed. It looks like a bottle of home brew and he may be watching
for the police. After all, writing songs like the ones on this album require a
nice stiff drink!! Ha Ha Ha!
